opening/baking oem headlights?

Hey guys I want to bake open my headlights and blackout the housing, I've done this before on my evo x so it wouldn't be my first time. However it would be my first bmw, and knowing how delicate these cars are I want to know if it's possible to actually bake them open and if anyone has done them, I have a 2009 135i, thanks!

You cant bake them open unless you want to melt the plastics. I am at work right now but I will respond to your question later today on how to separate the housings.
