I actually think we should have a seperate 135 and 1m forum for Oz

And may as well set up a seperate Oz M135 forum as I am sure members who have these on order will grow tired of people commenting on the cars looks

Well if you go back to the good old days before the 335i loser trolled every single thread, things were good... Threads used to be constructive and insightful, now because of one person, they have degenerated, gotten people banned etc. Like I have said before, if you don't have a 1 series AND have nothing constructive to add other than be a troll , then get off the forum.

Wow .... 18 hours with no power and haven't I missed a good debate. I forgot what this thread was about, however, everyone will have different views or opinion on cars. Is the 1M better than the newer M135i? Maybe ... Maybe not but Scoobs has made a good point mentioning the press are absolutely loving the M135i and I think as a daily driver or an occasional track car, it will be a good thing. It won't be a collectable but I also don't think the 1M will be one either until 20 years time. The 1M will probable depreciate at a slightly less rate but it will depreciate. The ones for sale currently are just being optimistic. What they advertise for is not what they sell for. Enjoy whatever you have.

I had a 1M and I sold it. I just couldn't sleep at night knowing I had the best car ever made ...ever. I just looked at all the other cars out there to be inferior. Pretty soon my life started falling apart, my work suffered due to me constantly obsessing over how good the car is and how much better it is over the 135i. I got tired of people on the street saying "hey mate nice 135" clearly it's a ///M dickhead. One day I got home to my friends and family sitting in a circle, it was an intervention. The 1M had to go, the greatest car ever made ... Like ever!

I wonder how many M135i's will be sold as manual? Everyone's talking about how great the auto is, and how easy it is to drive quickly.

The M135 for me is like that ugly fat chick who's suppose to be a great root in bed, if you close your eyes and can forgive the horrid styling one might enjoy the ride. (I could never possibly own one myself)

The 1M imo could potentially be a collectors car, but then again my mate purchased a 99 sti for $19k a while ago and they were suppose to be a collectors item and back in the day some nutters were paying $100k plus to get one. Only time will tell I guess though! I'm no expert but if I had $90K I would buy an M3 over a 1M...

Pav loves stirring shit, but I still find him amusing personally
