Hey guys, quick question... I just got interested in buying a new 135i convertible, but don't want to get it if a refresh is right around the corner. I recall seeing the current version of the 1 series out for a while now so I'm wondering if the next generation will be coming to the States within the next year. Does anyone have info on this and when a refreshed 1 series will be available in the USA?

The refresh already happened in 2011 for the 1-series. The next model will be called the 2-series. It'll be at least a year before it comes to the US though

Pretty much what he said. When you say refresh that makes me think of a slight facelift which as the guy above said already happened for the 1 series with the eye brow headlights and lci tails. But it actually happened in 2012. But if you google BMW 2 series there are several articles all speculating about the new model and how it will be equipped and some spy photos. But yes it will be at least another year.
