Stalling engine...my fault
Ive been driving manual cars for 20 years but for some reason Ive stalled out my manual 128 3 times in the last week (maybe a lot on my mind and not thinking)...I park my car, lift the emergency brake and for some reason let off the clutch and BAM, it lunges forward (stooped by the emergency brake) and immediately stalls out. I need to pay more attention, but was wondering how bad this was for the drivetrain. I take extra care with my car (usually) and it would suck if Ive caused it any damage doing this.

Imagine hitting 5000-6000 rpm and quickly lifting clutch if that is possible w/o any damage and I know some persons are doing that. So what you did is just a peace of ...

I am waiting for that one person that alwyas crys wolf. Any takers? While we are waiting for them to arrive. NOPE you are fine. you could even turn the car off while moving at low speeds (this is unsafe dont do it) and it wont hurt your car. it will come to an uncomfortable stop though.
