N55 Cobb vs JB4

Hi all,

I am thinking of getting either a Cobb AP or a JB4 for my 2011 135i. I currently have a PPK but want a little but more so I am exploring my options. I don't have any other mods on the car and don't plan on any for now. What are some pros and cons and what would you think is the best choice? Please let share your thoughts with me, I really appreciate it.

I do have to say that I am currently leaning towards the cobb just because of the ease of installation and removal.

Both have advantages and disadvantages. JB4 is nice because of the ancillary options, such as gauge hijacking, shift light, steering controls, etc.

Cobb is nice because its an actual adjustment to the timing and fueling tables instead of an altered signal from the DME. You can also adjust the throttle mapping to get rid of the awful stock mapping and get better control of the throttle at mid-range in the throttle position.

In the end, they both have very similar results as far as power and drive-ability. There is no definite one-over-the-other
