And you know you have a problem when you're trying to find a webcam showing the boat. I think this is it, it's just slowly making its way in as the Don Juan cargo ship heads out. Git!

I'm really, really, really hoping that my car gets on this boat, but I fear that I may not make the cut. The last 4 status updates for my car were as follows:

03.19.13 -- Your vehicle was released to a carrier and is awaiting transportation to the port of exit
03.20.13 -- Your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit
03.21.13 -- Your vehicle production is complete and waiting to be released to the carrier
03.22.13 -- Your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit

The repeat of the "vehicle being transported to the port of exit" is exactly what happened when I ordered my last car and it was making its last quick trip from the end of the train ride to the dock, so there's still some hope that that I'll make the Toreador.

Hopefully my status will be changed in the morning, but it's too early to say. Hold a spot for me, boys!!!

Just be glad we didn't try to make you go sit out there with a pair of binoculars to see if our cars are actually getting on the boat.

It's a fine line between "funny" and needing serious professional help and/or medication.

Woot woot! I made it on board. Just checked the 800 number and got the update: "Your vehicle is in transit." (As of last night it was still the "awaiting a shipping vessel" message.) Who else is with me?

Welcome to the party boat, about to dock in Southhampton, UK in a couple of hours. That darn 800 number is so far behind, had my stomach in knots all sunday and monday as it didn't change status until this morning. But, my sales guy had e-mailed me Monday morning to let me know my car was at sea and expected in port April 17, so that put my mind somewhat at ease that I made it aboard.

Ahhh....

Kouper's car and my car are on there with yours. His is probably sunbathing with the top down on the deck, so we should throw stuff in there to mess with him.

Its only 34 degrees and cloudy today so I'm just fine with the butt warmers on and some old Dead tunes blasting from my H-K sound system. Drop on by!

I was in the same boat ... no update, no news. emailed my broker Monday morning and still haven't heard anything back, so was banking on the update delay and today it finally came through ...

I'm in the same boat, but different ship (East coast delivery). My 800 message switched today from "awaiting a shipping vessel" to "in transit". I'm not sure which boat I'm on yet since there are several options and my VIN isn't in the tracking system yet.

Bottom line: super excited that we're all getting our 1ers!

Also, that's one BIG boat.

My car still doesn't show up in their cargo system as on a boat even though I know it's there. Not sure what the east coast deliveries are, but I know the boat Don Juan literally left the same dock 5 minutes before the Toreador arrived, so I bet that's probably it. Try to find Don Juan's schedule on the W&W website perhaps or check their schedule from Bremerhaven to wherever they go on the east coast with departure date after March 21 or 22. Should only be one boat.

To all the 1'ers on boats (sorry Simian if you're reading this!)! And glad I got the HK system to listen to some good stuff for 3 weeks, too, though wish my satellite radio were activated. Not sure what reception is like though in the middle of the atlantic.

Well, it's possible you are on one of the NYK lines as I saw they were going to Texas. I don't think they do cargo tracking though.

It's also possible he's on K-Line (which is not related, best I can tell, to NYK Lines). Mine's currently on their M/V Georgia Highway headed for Baltimore, Brunswick, and Charleston.

That said, Georgia Highway doesn't get over into the Gulf, so maybe not.
