And some terrible smartphone shots of the new car meeting the old car. Don't worry, they didn't fight.

I'll take some real shots with a proper camera after I get the fun bits installed in a few days.

Congrats!! Your car looks great. Well I should be placing my order next week for a new 128i as well.

I've decided on the following:

Alpine White
M-Sport
Heated Seats
Beige leather

I was set on getting blue for awhile, but finally talked myself into white. I've debated about getting Coral Red seats, but thought I might not like it after awhile.

Some glamour shots after window tint and before minor surgery. The last shot (gratuitous black sisal Cocomat close-up) is for Greg.

Looking good...

And will look like a completely different car in about a day, too! So, then of course it means more pictures and glamour shots.

Looks great, but I can't wait to see it with the new wheels and suspension.

Just dropped her off at HP Autowerks, so it won't be long now. They were actually going to get started on her tonight.

What kind of floor mats are those? What % tint did you end up getting? Pics look great in the sun!

I'll answer as Simian's agent and stand in while he's out of town enjoying himself while is car is 90-ized complete with accompanying tape deck.

He got a 35% tint and the infamous floor mats I almost bought at his advice, but may hold off on for awhile are custom made cocomats from cocomats.com in the black sisal #42, which is the only pattern/texture I would have considered.

The finance manager is hooking me up with free mats, hopefully a cargo mat too. If I don't like them, at least it was free.

Simian,
Looking good! What size tires did you go with?

And...are you going to carry any type of space saver spare or jack with you?

Michelin PSS 225/40-18 all around. I'm going with a plug kit and a 12V compressor for now...and the ever-present mobile phone, of course. If I ever take a serious road trip through treacherous territory, I may consider something more but I'm comfortable with my current plan.

I took a couple short, low speed drives around town (still fun) but I'll have some real impressions to share after the 100 mile drive home tomorrow.

Sounds like a good plan. I carried a plug kit last time I swapped my RFs for Pilot SS, and to this day I've never opened the plug kit. But I did not carry a compressor. ON long trips, I threw in a full size spare tire and wheel that I had purchased used (big hassle though). Looking forward to your impressions.
