Featured on BIMMERPOST.com This black sapphire metallic M6 is the flagship BMW M coupe with its 560hp / 502 lb-ft torque twin turbo V8 powerplant, while the 135is coupe remains one of BMW's best performing small coupe, for now... The 135is coupe will be replaced later this year by the BMW M235i coupe (the E82 1 series coupe will be replaced by the F22 2 series coupe). The M235i coupe will be the first M Performance automobile to be introduced to the North American market when it begins production in November 2013. It will be joined by the 228i coupe in the US. The 228i coupe also begin production this November. The M235i (315hp) will share its powertrain and mechanicals with the well praised M135i hatchback. It should also be offered in an xDrive model at some point. See some preliminary prototype VIN details: http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=799090 |

I saw (I think) this same 135is in Chicago...those eyebrows make all the difference in the world on the E82. Neither of mine had them, wish they did...
But this was right out in front and man did it look hot!

I did drive a 135is and it was ok... it looks decent... overpriced and underperforming... the 335is would smoke it Wait for the M235i... your pocketbook will thank you or wait for the M2 and you will be smirkin... |

The N54T in the 335is and 1M is a beast
Close but no cigar for the N55T - I am just saying out of all the m-sport version the 135is is the most parts-bin... still think it's fun and more track oriented than stock 135, but I would hold out for the M235i ... I could be wrong since the M235i isn't out yet That's why I think the new M3/M4 would be a fusion of both engines So my thinking for the new M3/M4 would be 335is on steroids ...And any of the dark blues are beautiful on BMWs... I like azurite and jerez and monaco as well |

Now the question is: With Audi S3 starting from around 39k, how much would BMW ask for an M235i? Hope it's not too much more than that, cuz they need to leave some space for the M2.

135 xi-dream car...
Dear BMW...
I love you...however, living in Wisconsin, I need awd if I want to have any fun in the winter months... I owned a 128i and sold it for a 335xi coupe...love the awd and power but miss the go-cart like feel and look of the 128i... Yours truly Andrew Haha |

I was at the show last night. The Mercedes booth had hundreds of people and BMW had about 20. Granted Mercedes always has the foresight to have an open bar and food on preview night, but BMW had shockingly little interest. And I hung around for 10 minutes and quite literally not a soul even walked near the 3 series GT. it was an eye opener on where customers' interest lies. The new MB CLA is hideous....looks like a jelly bean.

There's no comparison - I've had a 2008 N54 135 and my current 2011 N55 135 and the N54 is leaps and bounds ahead of the N55. So much stronger and pulls way harder. Had both for 3 years each so I can speak to it.
