Wow, the thickness and coverage is very impressive... You can't get that (at least I haven't) with the Gilmour Foamaster.

Excuse my ignorance but after applying the foam, do you let it sit for some time and then just spray the car with water to remove the soap? Is cleaning the car with a microfiber mitten no longer needed with this method?

for best results on dirtier cars I would let it set up for a bit then rinse off, then do a traditional wash. if its a maintenance job you can foam it and wash it.
