great car, seem to be fast, look at those fat rear tires, they are wider than the 335i, maybe 275.

I am very into the car. They're one of the few manufacturers out right now who are really trying to get back to a lightweight sports car.

Here's an old 2002tii:

"Mid-thirties" pricing for that car will be amazing!

Question: Why the F**K do they make concept cars look so much better than their real world counter-parts?

tuning potential...
accessory marketing...
oh, i could go on...

if they don't make it, some 3rd party will... so in the end, we can still have it; we just have to wait :sad0147:

I photoshopped the horrendous line by the side skirts the flows upward to the front wheel arch. I have no clue why they would design something like that.

it can't be an M. and the rear is the coolest part of the car... hopefully the redesigned e90 gets some nice tail lights to be up there with the e60 new tail lights and others...

the regular 1 series
the 1 series tii

The car looks hot now, and even if they don't come out with it, the car has potential. Its going to be faster than the e92, its going to outbrake the e92, and its going to have a lot more aftermarket support than the e92.

I want to get rid of the e92 and get this now. This is what the 3 series coupe should have been. Lighter, faster and way more exciting !!

With LSD the 1 series will give the M3 a run for the money I believe.

I do know that the car will be substantially heavier than the old 02, of course, but I am all for the idea of going back to a smaller, lighter sports car. Even if this is a relatively small step in that direction, it's still a step in that direction.

Judging from your prior posts I think you would be happier with an Evo...is your e92 a 335i or 328? Got any pics?

if "Lighter, faster and way more exciting !!" means having a fucking hidious looking front end on my car, count me out. There are alot of smaller lighter, faster cars out there but when they look like a teenager owned, $7,000 civic, its just embarrassing.

But I will admit that this version of the 1 series looks damn good from the side and rear, but nothing to compare against an e92...give me a break

Seems weird that you would have such strong feelings about a guy owning this kind of car, but have no problem with a guy owning a PINK cell phone (from you sig)! JK!

Looks really good from some angles like others have said. I would love it w/o the stripe/hood.
