My first question on behalf of a fellow e90post'er.
AHA! somebody gets the concept!
So. This guy (I assume) is going in for an oil change tomorrow. He has an SSTT and an intake. He wants to know if he should take both off, or leave the intake on in the hopes that if there are any fishy readings it will get the blame. THoughts? |

Leave the intake... not because it would get the blame, but rather because intakes are not a big deal and I have never heard anyone get any B.S just from having an intake..
And by the way, the SSTT can and has trigged Limps and manipulation codes under the right conditions.. I have seen it with my own eyes. |

There is a difference between limp and manipulation codes... Not all limps are stored, some get cleared automcatically.. Manipulation on the other hand is def. stored
