I don't think so, there is only so much you can do with a tmap sensor. So it would just come to pricing. And we know BMS does a little better on pricing then vishnu. Plus BMS is already using those chips to upgrade their JB3, so they have knowledge and R&D with the chips.

It would not be a smart decision on Vishnu tuning to go into that market. Unless they know something I don't.

Wouldn't really need a chip for this purposes since there is no RPM signal to reference signal offsets off of. Or boost control solenoids to drive. Basically a plug-in JB1X by the sound of it. Hence the solenoid bypass and low boost pressure or diagnostic visibility. Just begging for a $5 DIY using discrete components. No, I have no plans on posting one

Don't bet on that I just said that I had no plans to post a free DIY/schematic.

But you did last year, remember the Happy Meal Tuner.
Didn't Terry start that way, looking at a simple resistor tune getting all kind of info from you and the Tuner wars started

Yep. Consists of a single subconnector patch (no taps/pin extractions/etc) and a hand-held controller that you can adjust while driving. Pretty LED lights too

I found the TMAP connector housings so I can make it SSTT/JB+ like in terms of installation. But I would have to give up some of the functionality (like the hand held interface, RPM input, expandability, etc.,) I just can't get myself to degrade a tune on purpose. But if TMAP installation is more important to people than performance and safety, we would consider it.

I'll post up pics tonight of the naked board/controller. With dyno runs too.

You think you'll be able to make it diagnostically invisible for MDS81 cars regardless of the PSI? (obviously not gonna be 15+ PSI)
