Below are the new maps that ship with the JB3 v1.22

0 Stock/Valet -- Stock tune with boost levels of 6-8psi. This turns the JB3 off, so the car is 100% stock

1 Low boost map -- Boost levels of 11-12psi

2 High altitude map -- Boost levels of 13-14psi but more aggressive high RPM boost taper

3 High boost map -- Default map, suggested for most users -- Boost levels of 13-14psi -- Auto detects and adapts to mods like race gas, intake, exhaust, DP.

4 High boost map with lagfix -- Same as map 3 but with improved throttle response below 3500rpm

5 Hot map -- Same as map 3 but with more aggressive low end boost and less high end taper -- Suggested for those looking for a little more power than the high boost map

6 Hot map with lagfix -- Same as map 5 but with improved throttle response below 3500rpm

7 Race map (customer version) -- 97+ RM/2 octane and supporting mods suggested -- Peak boost of 14-16psi depending on mods and weather.

I am on map 4 right now, topped out at 130mph... whats the deal with that? I guess i just assumed they would have removed that too.... or do the other maps remove the top speed limiter?

You dont have the sports package, so it electronically limits you to 130.

You can either get a add-on speed limit defeater device from Active Autowerks or another tune that incorporates that feature.

think of it as a way to save yourself. imagine what would happen if you got caught doing 135+ on a public road

map 5 is my favorite

Imagine if you crashed, had a blow out, etc

if you had that code, next time it needs service and they DL the info won't they see that it is something a tuned car is known for and find other codes relating to this and void your warranty if problems start occurring with turbo's or other components related to it?

to imply that you would get "burned by a ricer" tells people that you race, or at least drive irresponsibly on public roads. a few blasts down the highway by yourself at midnight is ok, but not racing a "ricer" at 130mph in the middle of the day.

I depends on which device you install. The procede for example tells the ECU a fix max speed you where driving if you pass the limitter.
