"Limp" mode in auto only

I have JB2 on my 2007 335 Steptronic forabout 18 months now. Several weeks ago it started to go into "limp"mode when I accelerated quickly to the maximum RPMs. But as time passes the RPM threshold when ithappens goes lower and lower and now it's about 3,500 RPM. I usually drive inDS but today I decided to try it in M and nothing happens no matter how hard Iaccelerate in each gear! Then I switched back to Ds and it is there again. Any thoughts?Thank you.

there isnt much you can do with troubleshooting a jb2 because it cant be updated or changed. email terry and he should know whats causing it at least. Get a jb+

Thank you all for your response. I contacted Terry and he told me to remove the mods and go to the dealer and that is what I'm going to do.
