driver's fender cracked on my second 335

So i had an e92 335 coupe a little while ago and i had a crack similar on my drvers fender. on my current car ( also a 2009 e92 335), which i just bought in Jan of this year, i noticed i have the same crack in the same spot but its not quite as big. WTF? why the hell are these fenders so brittle? what can i do to stop the spread of this? epoxy and cover with touch up stick?

Is that inside where the hood closes down on the fender? I have a piece that broke there. I wonder if the dealer mechanics use that as a place to rest tools and is more susceptible to accidental damage.

As picky as I am with my cars when I am cleaning them, I don't think I'd ever even notice that there. Now I am going to have to start checking for cracks there.

it is a very vulnerable part of the car because the fender forms into this thin tip that touches the headlight and i noticed that this tip is off a little bit.
