This was behind a paywall, IIRC for Motor Trend Television, never saw it, until yesterday, came up free on YouTube as a new video on my feed. Very enjoyable watch, IMO.

I always think, what if they could drive one with a rowdy exhaust...

I have an issue with filling up my E82. It is near impossible as each time I press the pump it cuts off the fuel with a loud click.

A bit of googling has said this is likely the PCV.

Can anyone comment on this? Does that sound right.

Is it an easy replacement. I’m not really sure even...

Is it an easy replacement. I’m not really sure even where it is tbh.
Any advice and comments much appreciated.

Hi guys - I'm replacing my center console due to peeling of the rubberized paint on the hard surfaces. But it isn't as easy as I thought due to variations in console configurations.

My car doesn't have nav, so two integrated cup holders occupy the space where the iDrive dial would normally go. The part number I get on RealOEM for my VIN is 51-16-9-193-395. I ordered from getbmwparts, but they shipped me one that had the iDrive configuration. Returned that and they sent another. But now this part has the mounting kit on the right side of the console for a forward cup holder - common in the 1 series, but mine does not have that:

Size: ">Attachment 4000298

Getbmwparts claims that the side mount is correct for my VIN, and that someone must have swapped the console. I seriously doubt that.

Questions..............

1. Does anyone else have my configuration with two integrated cup holders, and NO side mount cup holder?

2. Does anyone have information about build code(s) associated with that forward cup holder?

3. Does anyone know if e82 series cars all share the same basic console?
