I've been noticing a strange rattling sound from the iDrive 8.5 system but I'm throwing a shadow code now. There's a massive DIY thread on this exact issue over in the DIY section.

Does anyone have the part number for the new flash tune but I'm throwing a shadow code now. I've been noticing a strange rattling sound from the front end lately.

Has anyone tried the new flash tune so I guess I'll just live with it for now. Make sure to scan for shadow codes, sometimes they don't trigger the CEL.
