I've never driven a csl or a 1m so take my comment with a grain of salt.

I have 3 track days under my belt and this past weekend I passed 2 track prepped(gutted, caged, brakes, rcomps, motor?) e46 m3s that happen to be regulars at buttonwillow. I also have it on video. I spoke with the drivers after and they confirmed that they weren't sand bagging. But then again there was another near stock m3 that was posting times nearly 6 seconds quicker than the track prepped m3s.

So if I were to use the critical thinking skills being used in this thread I would conclude that my car is quicker than a track prepped m3 but slower than a stock m3?? There is way too much ignorance and fanboism in this thread. It should have just been kept as watch my cool video....
