I have the production number and documentation which shows me as the "sold to" party, but am curious about actual production dates. The car shows up on BMW as order received (production not started), and the BMW 800 number confirms the same information.
Granted all this came about only a little more than a week ago. I have no idea what "production week" I might be at this point, is there a way to find out? I'm content knowing that I won't see the car for some time, but just curious when "some time" might actually be.

Your CA should be able give you the production week. Thats how i got mine. If not try calling BMW 800 number and talking to a person about it and give em your production number. Production is running close to a week ahead of schedule so right now i think week 41 or 42 cars are starting to be produced. You are prob looking at a week 45 or something but idk for sure.
Generally its taking the car 1 week to be built, sits at port for about 2 weeks, takes about another 2 weeks to get here once on a ship depending on where you are located...Mine was a week 37 build and went into production a week early, It sat at the port for 2 weeks. Its ona boat now and should be arriving to Brunswick, GA around 10/10
