HPF full exhaust with resonator

Im on the fence here... I am with you. I know the hazards of modding a car, the risk of upping the boost, changing the plumbing, tuning the car to perform above the recommended factory ratings, racing and beating the piss out of the car, etc. The Dealer with just those mods alone can conclude pretty quickly that increasing the boost alone adds more stress to the turbines, removing the cats in the downpipes alters the air/fuel ratios, tuning the car changes the way it operates outside of spec, the meth kit and its affects on the compnents, etc etc. Personally, the dealer dosnt owe you a single thing and has every right to deny you any work or parts related to the motor and turbines...
BUT... It's also known that there is a huge issues with these turbos, they had an issue on stock cars, there is extended coverage for them, the wastegates are known issues too. So at the same time you have every right as a consumer to deamnd they replace the turbos under that clause. I would fight BMW all the way on this.
Yes, I am playing devils advocate, lol. I hope everything truly works out for you and they agree to change them at no cost to you. But c'mon, ANY turbo on ANY car will fail eventually if brought past their normal build specs. These are cheap factory turbos. Not some over built turbonetics or garrets here. just saying. It will happen again, and again, etc.
Either way, I think we can all take away from this is this... Turbos are shot? Put your shit back to completley stock, un-tune it, then roll it into the dealer. Im not one to tell someone to try and commit fraud, i mean, thats the reason why many dealer give the real issues such a hard time because of al lthe fraud that goes on, but in a case where they have a knon issue like the turbos it should be done for you as a one time gesture. Sucks. I know. Raise hell OP and get them to do it. Good luck and I really do hope it works out for you in the end.
