I would still recommend a 265/35/18 sized front tire. Since R compounds run so
large you could run either a 275/35/18 or 295/30/18 rear tire and the
10.5" wide rear wheel would be able to support that width tire easily.
Those are good staggered front to rear ratios and many R compound
tires are offered in those sizes. We tend to favor Nitto NT01's as they are less finicky in finding ideal air pressures, cheaper, and seem to be faster on track.
