I haven't driven it for that long, but in my short experience in M mode is that it shifts firmer (I really enjoy how it downshifts now). The most obvious difference that I can tell so far is basically D mode. It is ridiculously smooth like if it was a CVT transmission.

I'll report back later this week after I put some more miles on it.
