Honestly I drive like a granny on the street, so my impressions probably aren't worth much. Doing an auto cross Sunday and a DE in a few weeks so I will report back after that.

I think the apex wheels are designed to fit most brake kits. They also allow for a wider range of tire choices.
For what it's worth, in the group buy I paid $1100 for the wheels and another $1100 for the hankooks. Hard to beat that.
