Ahhh. Please excuse my current limited knowledge! I've been in e36 land for over 8 years and only in the e82 world for a few days!
I think I am still going to try this out on my N54. I'm going to be a cheap ass and save $30. I'm ordering the parts right now and report back once I get it installed!

Just checked Tisher for prices. Turns out the N54 perf. short shifter is CHEAPER than the e90 perf. ss. Maybe later down the road I'll pick up a e90 PSS and really drop the shift throw.
