Will do. As of now, I'm planning on taking 4', 3', and 2' sections of 2x10, cutting the ends with a skill saw at a 45 degree angle, then screwing them together. im also thinking about drilling two holes into the floor of my garage, pressing in some barrel anchors, and lag bolting the ramps in place when I'm using them. I'm thinking that should give me more than enough access to do the 'under the car' work that I usually do, and I certainly don't worry about 6 inches of 2x10 lumber ever collapsing with me under the car.

Sad, sad story.
