Can you elaborate on your testing procedures? I have only anecdotal evidence in regards to the cowl's effect on cooling. Without the cowl, the rear of the hood is now a large vent for heat to escape. When driving the car hard, without the cowl, you can see heat escaping the hood that it otherwise would not do with the cowl in tact.
