Fuel pump may have just gone?
Car ran just fine yesterday. I turned it on this morning and it was misfiring a bit like usual in cold start mode. Then a really loud whistle/whine starting coming from the engine bay. I turned the car off and there was a strong odor of gas and some smoke that came from the exhaust. Is the HPFP quitting on me?
