I honestly think they can be one in the same. I would be thrilled with slightly wider than 1M specs (even 1M Width!), but with a little more build into the flare.
If we could get a replica of the prototype 1M flares I would be THRILLED... If anyone remembers his pic...
And for comparison - factory 1M flares...
