With all due respect, what were you hoping for when you bought a German road car? If you like drag racing, practice feathering the clutch pedal out (if you have one of those).

Ha ha, no worries here... agree as well, not my 1st BMW either. Mine is a DCT and I normally drive stick but the DCT was some technology I wanted to mess with for a few years.

As much as a rewarding launch can be, sometimes it would be nice to simply have the additional front traction as well (think GTR) that's all. I know we can't have it ALL, no worries

When I had a modded WRX years ago I got tired of "too much traction" if that makes sense, and went back to RWD with an e46 330 stick, which was a blast but low on "grunt". The 135 is awesome and checks all the boxes... except for 5% of the time when I want to grow a mullett and pretend to be a blown Fox body Mustang on drag radials.
