New 1/2-Series APEX Wheel Fitment: 17x9.5 ET60 or 17x9 ET45

Hello everyone, I have a proposition for you all. The 135i has difficult wheel fitments, and this is a well understood issue. How many of you would be interested in a 1/2-series specific 17x9.5 ET60 rear wheel made by APEX, likely in the form of an ARC8? This would allow a plug and play fitment for 245/40-275/40 tires. This would be perfect for us race race and autocross guys who want the cheap tires afforded by 17" wheels. I personally would run a 255 on this fitment. For the drag/roll race guys, this would be plug and play for your 275/40 drag radials, and everything in between. The ARC8 are tough as nails, and can take the abuse of the race track, and the pot holes on the street, these are a quality wheel for the price. Rough numbers would be around 17-18# in weight, and likely at a cost of about $300/wheel, available in the typical silver, anthracite, black, and hyper black finishes. I have spoken with APEX and they are considering this, but want to see market interest in the idea before committing. If you are even slightly interested in this idea, please like and post in this thread so we have more information to show them.

Thanks,
- Jake
