Hello everyone, I have a proposition for you all. The 135i has difficult wheel fitments, and this is a well understood issue. How many of you would be interested in a 1/2-series specific 17x9.5 ET60 rear wheel made by APEX, likely in the form of an ARC8? This would allow a plug and play fitment for 245/40-275/40 tires. This would be perfect for us race race and autocross guys who want the cheap tires afforded by 17" wheels. I personally would run a 255 on this fitment. For the drag/roll race guys, this would be plug and play for your 275/40 drag radials, and everything in between. The ARC8 are tough as nails, and can take the abuse of the race track, and the pot holes on the street, these are a quality wheel for the price. Rough numbers would be around 17-18# in weight, and likely at a cost of about $300/wheel, available in the typical silver, anthracite, black, and hyper black finishes. I have spoken with APEX and they are considering this, but want to see market interest in the idea before committing.
