Not impossible but it is a huge PITA. The Permaseal sealant is not a team player.
I worked my way around the headlight with a heat gun and a box cutter, prying the plastic and cutting the sealant. Afterwards, after removing all accessories, I placed them in the oven at 225-235 F for 30 minutes. This will actually get the sealant hot enough that you can pry the lens out. Afterward you need to remove all that tough Permaseal from the canal and lens and replace it with Butyl Rubber.
I highly recommend a professional for the job, not sealing them properly is very high risk on these specific headlights. Once the moisture enters it settles on the bottom and fries your system. $200+/module + ~$100/ballast + coding= a bad day. Ask me how I know
