However, I feel the flash is safe with 10+ amp and a decent battery, all lights/electronics shut off. We have done numerous of these with this process and no bricked DMEs yet, even some of them with the flash taking nearly 20-30 minutes.
Anything less than 10 amps, the risk is on you if the battery voltage falls too low and we lose communication with the DME.
But, I can let others who received their flash chime in on the specific chargers they used  .

Joe, I get wifi in the garage, but throughput according to speedtest is reduced to about 10-12Mbps in that location.. Is that sufficient for you to work your remote magic?
