Sorry to dig up this old thread, but I was looking at wrapping the silver trim on my DCT shifter with the carbon fiber 3M Di-Noc film. I figured it would be a nice little accent. I can't seem to find a DIY anywhere on how to remove that trim, can you point me in the right direction?
It's pops off very easily with a trim removal tool. Just run it along the edge until you get a bite and lift the trim off the shifter.
