I felt the same thing, pedal was a bit lighter.

Also, shifting feels a lot better due to the timing of the "clamping" of the PP. It is up to YOU to control it now rather than being forced to soft engage and be stuck with that delay. I find it best to take the car out of gear as the pedal is about 1/3 of the way down. It comes out with less force and goes into the next gear with less force....then you have to manage your throttle position to find what works best for your style.

Overall, low rpm shifting in this car is really jerky unless you slip clutch or the planets align. Deleting the CDV helped a lot, but other cars are just way easier to drive smoothly. High rpm shifts are still butter though on this thing.
