I'm looking for some help from users who have replaced the water pump and thermostat on a 135i convertible.

There are some great write ups and videos available on this DIY; however, all of them fall short when it comes to doing the replacement on a 'vert.

Specifically I want to know how to remove the convertible specific underbody bracing correctly.

1. Are the bolts one time use?
2. Are there specific torque specs on the bolts?
3. What is the best way to remove the braces?

Any tips or insights from someone who has completed this job on a convertible would be appreciated.
