I got the WMA2000 which is the USB only version. Plugged it in, connected up on my iPhone & can stream music or Pandora to the head unit and still control the music from the steering wheel. The wma2000 worked for me b/c I have the combox 6VC and 6FL usb/audio interface . Calls still work via my Bluetooth. It muets the music when I get a call and when the call is done plays on.

i have a bmw 323i 2010 lci which had idrive with business headunit without combox and with 6fl usb and 3.5mm audio in armrest.
so, i bought wma1000 few years back and it was working fine.
recently i got combox retrofitted with professional headunit. unfortunately wma1000 sounds terrible with this setup.
now, i stumbled on this thread and as thought i need a wma2000 as i got combox and my iphone works fine if i connect directly to the usb with combox.
wma2000 arrived this morning and unfortunately car headunit doesnt detect wma2000 at all. wma2000 powers up while connected to the 6fl usb and iphone is connected with it but it doesnt show up on the headunit.
any idea / suggestion?
