Pulled my headlights out yesterday and got a good look at the wiring. Crispy, dried out and cracks everywhere. Really, showing every bit of their almost 100K miles.
Set the lights on the couch to have a bit of a think.... The Wife walks in, gets a good look at them and declares "Those things look like crap, I'm surprised they even work..." I take another look and from this angle the lenses look really bad- yellowish and the cracks on the inside of the lens are really well highlighted.
So, there's ~$1400.00 spent on a pair of new Valeo's...
New wiring & lenses, along with my electronics & bulbs and a fresh new set of Cree's on the way too.
