It's 100% a common issue. The housing inside the headlight is cracked where the metal tab meets. It's a non serviceable part you'll need a new headlight eventually. For now u can keep trying to stretch the tab on the bulb socket to complete the circuit but eventually it won't work anymore. |
That makes sense, this is the second bulb socket this headlight has fried.
Sounds like a new headlight is in my near future.
Do you think it's possible for it to start a fire?
