My suggestion is not to go down this path with your daily driver. You need dependable transportation before you start modifying the car and hitting the track. I've daily driven my 4th gen Trans AM and a 5th gen Camaro SS while I was doing Time Trials and they're going to break. My 135i is sitting right now because of a damaged rod bearing from an Event at Sebring in August but I have a truck as a driver so no harm. I'm going to put rod bearings in it over the Christmas break and hope it holds together.
