Funny to stumble across this thread… I was just talking to a friend to ditch his CF paddles for metal ones, specifically Evolve. I have dumped well over $20k into my G80, and the Evolve aluminum paddles are hands down one of my favorite additions, and one of the cheapest.
Love these things. They’re longer, so easier to manipulate wherever your hands are at on the wheel, and they provide a much more mechanical feel, more sturdy, etc. some people probably think I’m crazy to ditch the pretty carbon ones, but aluminum Evolve paddles are an absolute game changer.
