My E88 didn’t have satellite radio and I didn’t like the idea of an antenna that didn’t really do anything. So, I bought the satellite radio mounting kit and found a used satellite radio unit on eBay. BMW claims to need a software flash to make it work, but as soon as you connect it properly, your radio head unit recognizes it and it works perfectly. I only wish my usb input would recognize my phone or old iPod for music. It has power but won’t recognize my devices.
