In fact, I usually also plug the pipes before the throttle body so I'm just testing the charge pipes and IC. That seemed to be where the majority of leaks are.

Doing that on our cars (post turbo) may be tougher....I guess you'd have to come from the bottom and I haven't even looked at that yet.

On my Solstice GXP with charge pipes on top it was so easy...I could access the turbo and charge pipes ran along the top of everything.

I'll see what happens tomorrow when I try this--I'll see if the turbo seals leak.
I am running into the same problem. Have you found a way to properly smoke test?
