My recommendations for when I fixed my issues:
Purchase "Bimmergeeks: Pro tool" from App store. You will have access to a number of diagnostic tools and coding so not totally "wasted". Reset all adaptations, engine, transmission etc. About 6-8 total adaptations to reset, this should resolve the problem as the "learning" the Car/ECU does on a normal basis may differ from when you last drove the car or if you bought it used from another region. This reset will allow the car to adapt to the new environment.
