I went a different route on getting magnetic paddles to work. I recently got a set of OE F series paddles. Before swapping the modules to my E series paddles, I swapped the connectors over to the F series paddles just to see if they work. To my surprise, they did. The main studs on the back of the F series paddle modules are slightly taller, so I didn’t install them since I had my factory modules, but it gave me the idea to try F series magnetic paddles that should work with some minor massaging.

I used a file to shorten the main stud. First one took me about 15 min because I was being extra cautious. Second paddle went much faster.
The body of the magnetic paddles is a little more squared off than the original modules so I had to dremel two corners of the plastic mount. Super easy though. After that I swapped my DCT connectors to the magnetic paddles and everything works.
The wires on the f series paddles are a lot shorter than e series, so I thought I would have to lengthen them. But it turns out they are the perfect length.
