I’ll be replacing the module, but does anyone know how to keep the water out? What’s causing water to get in there?

Hello Luis, hope all is well. Did anyone here was able to find out where the water is coming from? I see people replacing the Go Passive module but I don't see a solution on how the water gets inside the trunk?
We had medium storm here in here in So CAL last week and while I was at the gym my E88 got some rain and now my CA keyless entry is not working again. I will replace the battery in my key fob first but I doubt its a battery issue.
I can check module and try to dry the module but how about wrapping the module in a plastic bag to avoid water getting in to it? What are your thoughts?
