Efthreeoh's Beemer update...

So the Big B arrived late today. After a safe trip via the transporter guy, who had 3 bikes in his diesel Sprinter van and me trying not to panic about the tens of millimeters separating my brand new K1600B from a used Harley with studs on its paniers (er bags) and the sidewall of the van, the Big B arrived unscathed!

I've ridden it about 18 feet . The weather cooperated as I had hoped. No drama about grip getting a brand new 758-pound Bagger that I'd never seen before let alone test fit, or ride, up the apon of my shop floor and parked. It now sits along side the Valkyrie and I'm sure my trusty old Honda is now chatting me up about my ownership creds.

This motorcycle is no Bagger, lol. It's just a big, heavyweight Liter-Plus-Class sportbike with panniers. And really what I wanted. Though I've yet to ride it, the in-line 1.6L sounds like a fricken beast. It is quite LOUD at warmup idle.

Fitment is not yet confirmed. Some of flybigjet above noted items seem to ring true. The pegs are a bit high up, the grips a bit skinny for a "Bagger". The floorboards feel great. The handlebars seem to be in the right place for my sleeve length. Seat height is perfect.

Synchronicity as well, as my tag arrived earlier today from the DMV. Hopefully I'll get a first ride in soon once the weather clears and report in.

Thanks everyone for the interest.
