Thanks to all for this thread. Had my 2009 e82 that all of a sudden windshield washers stopped working.
Both pumps were working. Headlight washers were working.
Siphoned all fluid out (or most of it). Poured some hot water in. Siphoned that out. Then decided to take the hood squatters out. Tried with just hoses disconnected. Fluid was firing thru. So definitely both squatters blocked. Took them out. Soaked in hot water with soap. Then used a bicycle pump to blow them out. Bingo. Back to normal.
Squatters are $57 each wholesale at the dealer. Cheaper on line if you neee new ones. VDO is oem.
