In fairness, for many people that's a feature, not a bug. It's one of their major selling points – if you're a guy who likes or least doesn't mind haggling, they may not be the best choice for you. But a lot of people, myself included, despise the whole kabuki associated with buying a car and will gladly pay a bit more to avoid it altogether.
