Did you ever get this all sorted out? I'm looking to add BT audio streaming (for 3rd party CarPlay unit) and upgrade the BT Phone sound quality in my daughter's 2012 E88 with the Business radio. Right now the phone sound quality sounds very low-fi. Would just swapping in a newer multimedia combox from a CIC car address this? Plug and play?
