Hello all. Working on my 2008 135i that has factory adaptive Xenon.
I read previous forums about xenon to halo conversion. Same issue here: Everything BUT the high beams work.
I removed $522 and $524 from VO, moved pin 6 to pin 5 on the Spec D harness. So that when the high beam lever is pulled, voltage gets sent through that pin.
Tested each side and high beams somehow work separately but when both are plugged in they don’t work…
Went to the FSW_PSW.TRC file on the FRM and removed wert_03 from PWM_FL, leaving only wert_01, which supposedly sends steady 12v to the high beams wire.
I went in Tool32 and reset the FRM by passing 0xFF as a parameter to the job named _reset_kurzschluss_sperre.
Big surprised, it did not work…
I am out of ideas of what possibly could be the problem, maybe it’s the Spec D lights, or maybe it’s a internal vehicle working logic issue…
Anyone else has similar experiences? Anything helps, thanks a lot
